About
Julia
Julia has had a life-long passion for design. After graduating from the University of Cambridge and Central St. Martin's in London, she began work as a fashion buyer, which expanded her interests to textiles, color work, and patterns. As her ideas continued to evolve, she moved into custom furniture and interior design. After several years of working as a project manager for prominent designers, Julia decided to strike out on her own.
So began Julia Adele Design, a full-service interior design firm, working with both residential and commercial clients. Julia strongly believes that an environment should be beautiful, functional, and comfortable. She also understands that a home or work environment impacts the inhabitants’ emotions and productivity.
That is, an environment can have a broader influence on how people feel, work, and live. In addition, Julia feels that it is essential to support and give back to her community. She donates her time and skills to national organizations committed to providing safe and functional living spaces to those most in need.
Community
One of Julia Adele Design’s core principles is to give back to the community. As such, Julia has works on several projects to serve those most in need. She feels everyone deserves to have a home in which they can live safely and comfortably, so her efforts have gone into using design to accommodate a wide range of individuals and abilities.
Specifically, Julia Adele Design has done projects for Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs) for the city of Los Angeles and Furnishing Hope, which provides safe livable housing for homeless women and children.
Julia also designs homes to accommodate the special needs of wounded veterans through Furnishing Hope and Wounded Warriors. Julia holds certificates in Home Modifications from USC and in Universal Design from the University of Buffalo.
